Job Description

Electrical – 3 phase motors, basic understanding and troubleshooting of motor control (motor starters, relays, push button stations)

• Basic understanding of PLC operations, serial communications, I/O
• Ability to do common electrical distribution work, such as installing conduit, flex conduit, rigid piping, seal tight conduit, and disconnect switches
• Experience with A/C drives (VFD, Reduced voltage starters) would be a plus

Mechanical – installation and repair of a variety of power transmission devices, such as, bearings, direct drive gear reducers, chain drives, and belt drives

• Experience with material handling equipment such as chain conveyors, belt conveyors and augers
• Mounting of electric motors, installation of various motor couplings
• Assembly/repair of large industrial equipment
• knowledge of basic rigging.lifting techniques

Hydraulics- Installation, service, and troubleshooting of a variety of pumps, motors, accumulators, piping, and heat exchangers

Fabrication- Ability to measure and cut using oxy-acetylene torches or plasma torch, ability to weld using SMAW or MIG
